Selected Work

Own products and enterprise work, connected to real users and operational needs.

WAPP / Subway Simulator: Prague

  • Unity
  • C#
  • Blender
  • GIMP
  • AI-assisted development

Earlier released mobile subway games, followed by a pause and the 2026 revival as Subway Simulator: Prague. Current Unity / C# development is mobile-first, with custom tooling and procedural or parametric generation.

My roleProduct ownership, development and tooling

Product context
  • Basic 3D work — historically SketchUp, currently Blender — plus geometry, material and texture preparation, AI-assisted texture enhancement and upscaling, and small corrective edits in GIMP.
  • I handle enough 3D work to prepare assets and unblock development, iterating on small changes without depending on a dedicated artist for every detail.

Enterprise Software / Integrations

  • Java / Spring Boot
  • React
  • PHP
  • Liferay
  • REST APIs
  • RabbitMQ
  • Flyway
  • Liquibase
  • Hibernate / JPA

Insurance journeys, logistics systems and integrations. At Rohlik, direct operational experience grew into internal product creation, international process rollout and full-stack engineering.

My roleFull-stack development, internal tooling and process engineering

Product context
  • Internal Logistics Data Platform: a local C# dispatch utility became a PHP/JavaScript web platform for capacity aggregation, multi-source operational views, longer-route and telematics-based private-mileage calculations, and central operational records for courier business partners.
  • Courier Operations Portal: delivered after winning a public tender. Financial and invoicing-related views, operational block registration, management communication and priority-message acknowledgement, document uploads including insurance documents, customer ratings and performance, multilingual UI, internal/REST and legacy Google Sheets integrations, barcode scanning for returnable packaging and an editable CNG station map.
  • The portal adapted quickly to changing operational and regulatory needs during the COVID period.

  • PHP
  • React
  • Flutter

Custom business software, integrations and own digital products alongside primary employment. Ownership of architecture, backend, frontend, deployment and long-term operation.

My roleFounder and software developer

Product context
  • Shipvise — paused concept: designed and prototyped a managed deployment and software-review platform. Early validation did not show enough demand to justify continued investment, so active development is paused with the architecture and functional foundation retained.

  3. Jun 2021 – Feb 2025

    Full-Stack Developer

    Rohlik Group

A progression from operations and internal tooling through logistics process design and international rollout to full-stack engineering.

    Responsibilities & context
    • Migrating internally developed logistics applications towards Java / Spring Boot, React and Google Cloud; work on other internal Java/React systems according to team priorities.

AI-First Engineering

AI is an engineering multiplier. I use it to understand context faster, decompose problems, implement, review, test and iterate. Human judgment remains responsible for the decisions and the result.

AI proposes. Engineer decides.

I don’t use AI to avoid understanding the code. I use it to get to understanding and implementation faster.

Engineering judgment throughout

Product decisions · Architecture · Trade-offs · Final acceptance

  1. Context

    1. Build context

Understand users, the codebase, operational reality and constraints.

    2. Analyze & challenge assumptions

Refine requirements, compare approaches and surface unknowns.

    3. Decompose & plan

Turn the problem into concrete steps and acceptance criteria.

  2. Build

    1. Implement with constraints

Build in small steps, respecting architecture, scope and existing contracts.

  3. Verify

    1. Test & validate

Check behavior, failure paths and assumptions against evidence.

    2. Review critically

Challenge correctness, maintainability and unintended effects.

    3. Check security & risk where relevant

Assess exposure, privacy and operational risk when the change warrants it.

  4. Decide

    1. Human decision & delivery

The engineer owns product decisions, architecture, trade-offs and final acceptance.

Review loops

  • Failed checks return to implementation, then validation.
  • Review findings can reopen context and the plan.

The depth of the process follows complexity and risk; not every task needs every stage. Feedback can reopen context, the plan or implementation. Human judgment guides the work throughout and determines final acceptance.

Where AI helps

Codebase analysis, requirement refinement, architecture comparison, implementation, migration planning, debugging, refactoring, tests, reviews, documentation, product ideation and asset preparation.
